In this lab, you’ll practice using AWS Config to examine and enforce data compliance. When you’re finished with this lab, you’ll have learned how to set up AWS Config to monitor changes in AWS resources, observe compliance status, and validate compliance status after resources have been remediated.

Set Up AWS Config
You’ll set up AWS config to record the status of resources in your AWS account. You’ll then select rules that resources must comply to.
Remediate the Noncompliant Security Group
You'll begin your remediation effort by focusing on the inbound rules of the noncompliant security group.
Remediate the Noncompliant EC2 Instances
You'll use the compliance status from AWS Config to find and remediate the noncompliant EC2 instances by enabling detailed monitoring.
