Launch an EC2 Instance Using AWS Systems Manager Automation Documents
In this lab, you’ll practice the use of Systems Manager automation to create EC2 instances. When you’re finished with this lab, you’ll have experience with this form of automation as a tool to manage EC2 resources.

Determine AMI for EC2 Instance
You will use the launch wizard from the AWS EC2 Dashboard to determine the latest AMI for Amazon Linux 2. This value will be required by the AWS-supplied automation document.
Create Key Pair
You will create a key pair to use in the creation of EC2 instances. This value will be required by the AWS-supplied Automation document.
Launch EC2 Instance From Systems Manager Automation Document
You will select an AWS-provided Systems Manager automation document to launch an EC2 instance from the AWS Systems Manager dashboard.
