Premiere Pro is a non-linear editing program used by editors, producers, and loggers. Casual hobbyists will find Premiere useful for simple video editing, as well. Premiere is commonly used in smaller post-production houses and with freelancers, but can also be used in bigger Hollywood movies. Premiere Pro is popular software because it’s intuitive and easy-to-use for those new to video editing, but it also meets the needs of the masters who have used it for decades. Premiere Pro can be used to edit together anything from a quick product video, to a documentary, to a movie.
