Jerry has Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology and Physics. His plans to work in the oil exploration industry were sidetracked when he discovered he preferred to work with computers on simulation and data processing, instead of reading mud and core samples in the North Sea. His love of computers and tech resulted in him spending many additional hours working on computers while getting his Master’s degree in Computer Science. Janani has a Masters degree from Stanford and worked for 7+ years at Google. Vitthal has spent a lot of his life studying - he holds Masters Degrees in Math and Electrical Engineering from Stanford, an MBA from INSEAD, and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from Mumbai. He has also spent a lot of his life working - as a derivatives quant at Credit Suisse in New York, then as a quant trader, first with a hedge fund in Greenwich and then on his own, and finally at Google in Singapore and Flipkart in Bangalore. Although Jon spent the first few years of his professional life as an attorney, he quickly found chasing bits more interesting than chasing ambulances. He first worked at the University of Minnesota, building a financial reporting Web site using ASP and SQL Server, specializing in automatic integration between multiple data stores. Since 2011, Jon has been concentrating on the mobile world. Working mainly in iOS, Jon has helped numerous companies create and transform mobile teams into teams that can create, build, test, and deploy mobile applications with ease. Augmented Reality is another one of Jon’s current passions, along with Beacons and IoT. Justin Flett is a Mechatronics Engineer currently working as a Professor within the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology at Sheridan College.
